Curb and Sidewalk

In order to provide intermodal means of transportation and promote urban redevelopment, cities and towns are increasingly focused on improving their urban infrastructure. A major part of the efforts include improving curbs and sidewalks to support pedestrian traffic. Over the last 10 years, Certified Engineering has been involved in this effort by providing design services for several urban projects.

From our experience, we’ve learned that curb and sidewalk projects often include historically sensitive areas that require special design considerations. Additionally, cities and towns are required to conform with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Certified Engineering possesses the experience to deal effectively with all of these considerations, while helping cities and towns to utilize infrastructure funds in the most efficient manner.
